Volunteers Needed
A volunteer fire department, like any business, is multifaceted. Volunteer fire departments need volunteers with all types of skills and abilities. Besides the men and women who put on the turnout gear, ride the truck, and put out fires, other volunteers are needed. Volunteer fire departments need volunteers who have backgrounds in various areas such as general business, accounting, media, mechanics, construction, computers, and fundraising.
It is easier than you think to become a volunteer firefighter!
